Here is a set of eight periotomes with a unique ability - their working part is made of a special alloy "Flexible Shape Memory Steel F420", due to which these periotomes are flexible and due to this they are able to bend around curved tooth roots, easily penetrating into the periodontal gap during atraumatic removal. In addition to being flexible up to 90°, this alloy has shape memory, so after bending, the tool returns to its original shape. The tips of the periotomes are sharp, which makes it possible to dissect the periodontium and extract a tooth without injury to the bone, while preserving the volume of bone tissue for implantation as much as possible.
